Ferrari F355

The F355 Coupé had many evolutions, like the F355 GTS and the F355 F1. The name of this model, 355, indicated the piston displacement total of 3,5 liters and the 5 valves for cylinder.

During the realization, the Ferrari, began to transfer some of the acquaintances derived from the world of Formula 1 to that one of the series cars: injection electronic, flat bottom, sequenziale change and adjustable suspensions to electronic control from the nside on two different settaggi.

The chassis of the F355 was constructed entire in steel, the motor, located in the posterior part of the car, was 8 cylinders to V of 90° with 5 valves for cylinder, able developing one the maximum power of 380 cv to 8250 giri/min.

The F355 was many innovative also thanks to a deep study lead from Pininfarina onthe aerodynamics, a lot for the passage of the flows in the sottoscocca of the car that around the nside. The change of the F355 was 6 relationships + RM that during the production came finally modified and managed electronically. Moreover in the F1 version, behind flying, the balance for the insertion and the scaling of the marce was placed characteristic of the single-seater.

Version GTS instead was equipped of a removable canopy, classic of the Cars Plate.

The Ferrari, finally, decided to prepare a kit for the Challenge preparation for the sport customers and in order to make to participate it to a championship monomarks of large happening.

The 355 left place in 1999 the new Ferrari 360.
