The F355 Coupé had many evolutions, like the F355 GTS and the F355 F1. The name of this model, 355, indicated the piston displacement total of 3,5 liters and the 5 valves for cylinder.

The Ferrari, finally, decided to prepare a kit for the Challenge preparation for the sport customers and in order to make to participate it to a championship monomarks of large happening.
The 355 left place in 1999 the new Ferrari 360.
